Kim Jong Un, “crucial test to strengthen nuclear deterrent”
North Korea launched an intercontinental ballistic missile into the Sea of Japan.

The Japan Coast Guard ordered ships to remain on alert for further information. “It is a crucial ballistic missile test to strengthen the nuclear deterrent and is an appropriate military action that fully fulfills the purpose of informing rivals of our ability to counterattack,” leader Kim Jong Un said. For the US this is “a flagrant violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions” which “risks destabilizing security in the region”.
