Protests in various cities from tomorrow and indefinite sit-ins in Delhi from 6/20
The Cockroach Janta Party, CJP, the Indian ‘Cockroach Party’ which held its first demonstration in Delhi last Saturday, has announced the start of an indefinite sit-in from June 20th if Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan does not resign in the meantime.
The movement, which developed with overwhelming membership after the launch of the social profile of the same name at the end of May, has anticipated that, to amplify the demand, starting tomorrow protests will be held in other cities of the country: Pune, Lucknow, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Jaipur and Hyderabad. The CJP calls for the resignation of Minister Pradhan following the cancellation of the national entrance tests for medical schools, due to irregularities during the exams. “The need for retesting has created serious problems for millions of families and young people across the country,” the Cockroach Party says. “No young person must be penalized for the failure of the institutions. The minister must take responsibility for what happened: only in this way can the integrity of our educational system be defended”, is the thesis of the movement.
