Ajit Doval, India’s National Security Advisor, is in China, where this morning he met China’s Special Representative for Border Control and Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing.
The Indian agency PTI reports that during the talks various topics were discussed, including the management of the peace agreements along the border between the two countries and the resumption of bilateral relations, which remained frozen for more than four years after the stalemate following outbreak of violence in eastern Ladakh.
The last meeting of the Special Representatives of the two countries was held in Delhi in 2019.
