Accused of having played a key role in the insurrection
South Korean Army Chief of Staff General Park An-su has been arrested. This was reported by the Yonhap agency. The senior officer served as commander-in-chief during President Yoon Suk Yeol’s brief imposition of martial law. Park was arrested on charges of playing a key role in an insurrection and for abuse of power.
