Vietnam: Russian Prime Minister on two-day visit to Hanoi

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishustin arrived in Hanoi today for his first official visit to Vietnam, following that of President Vladimir Putin last June, with the aim of strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

As reported by Vietnam News, the delegation’s meetings with local leaders are an opportunity to outline future directions and clearly define the key areas of cooperation, which range from economics, trade, energy and science and technology, to education, culture and defense and security.

Meetings are scheduled with party secretary To Lam and Vietnamese prime minister Pham Minh Chinh.
