Rare bats has been identified in Singapore

Species in the process of extinction present in the South East Asia

In Singapore, a rare bats was identified, a species of extinction present in India, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo and Java. Its color has been described as a long, soft fur, of pale brown-yellowish shades up to brown-gray. The nasal leaf is yellowish, rounded and horseshoe -shaped in the front. The last documented sighting in Singapore dates back to 2023.
