‘But the US must correct their wrong practices’
China “evaluates” the United States offer for talks on duties and underlines that Washington has “taken the initiative” to start negotiations.
The Ministry of Commerce of Beijing recalls that “the United States have recently taken the initiative to open the dialogue” and that “China is currently evaluating the possibility”. However, the ministry asks that “if the US wants to dialogue, they should demonstrate their sincerity, be ready to correct their wrong practices and cancel the unilateral duties”.
