At FinTech the Italian pavilion from 6 to 8 November 24
Singapore’s central bank has created a new entity, the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), to consolidate Singapore as a global hub for fintech. This non-profit organization will be led by former central bank director Ravi Menon and will operate in four strategic areas: forum organisation, consultancy, digital platforms and an investment fund for technology startups.
GFTN replaces Elevandi, the organization founded to manage the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF), one of the world’s leading fintech events, which opened in 2016.
The 2024 edition of the SFF, which will be held in Singapore from 6 to 8 November, will be a meeting point for the international political, financial and technology communities. Designed to facilitate meaningful connections and collaborations, the SFF is a platform to explore the intersections of cutting-edge financial solutions, evolving regulations and new technologies.
This year, Italy participates in the SFF for the ninth time. The Italian presence will be represented by an official pavilion, coordinated by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Assofintech, where 10 Italian companies active in fintech will be present. These companies will present innovative solutions in the fields of digital payments, blockchain and artificial intelligence applied to financial services.
