During the Vietnamese stage of 3 and 4 September 2025 of the Mission in Asia of the Vice Minister of Business and Made in Italy Valentino Valentini, the delegation participated in the Italian-Vietnam Entrepreneurial Forum.
The event, organized by the ICE and Confindustria agency in collaboration with the Foreign Investment Agency Vietnamese and co-president by Valentini and I have Sy Hung, vice minister of Finance of Vietnam, has constituted an important growth diplomacy initiative that is inserted in the wake of the “export plan”, wanted by the Vice President of the Council and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani to support Italian exports in the Italian exports in the Italian exports in the Italian exports High potential non-EU markets. 63 Italian companies and over 300 Vietnamite companies active in the following four sectors considered priority: machinery and agri-tech participated in it; energy transition and circular economy; Infrastructure and transport; high technology and innovation.
During the forum, in the presence of the vice ministers Valentini and Hung, 10 memorandum of understanding were exchanged signed between economic bodies and companies of the two countries. Italian exports to Vietnam grew by +26% in 2024, and the exchange recorded +11.5% in the first 4 months of this year. Vietnam is also our first supplier in the Asean area (about 40% of Italian imports from the Region).
