Beijing defends Russia’s ‘interests’
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said today that Beijing is ready to play a “constructive role” to end the war in Ukraine, while defending Moscow’s “interests”.
“China is ready, taking into account the aspirations of the parties involved, to play a constructive role with the international community in the resolution” of the conflict, declared the head of Chinese diplomacy at the Russian Ria Novosti press agency before a meeting with its counterpart Serghei Lavrov in Moscow.
