Beijing rejects the latest hypotheses relaunched by US intelligence
China rejected the reconstructions that the Covid-19 pandemic was originated from a laboratory, after the US intelligence said she believed that the virus had “a origin linked to research” rather than transmission from animals. “The conclusion that it was a laboratory escape is extremely unlikely and was reached by the joint team of expert China-World Health Organization on the basis of field visits to the laboratories relevant to Wuhan”, commented on the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning.
