Relaunch of bilateral agreements on the digital economy
Singapore and Vietnam strengthen their bonds with a new pact of global strategic partnership. The agreement expands cooperation, including safety and defense, and integrates the existing collaboration on renewable energy and digital economy. Thus updates the 2013 strategic partnership, based on the Green-Digital Economic Partnership. Prime Minister Lawrence Wong stressed that it is the first CSP of Singapore with a member of the Asean, highlighting mutual trust and collaboration opportunities. The agreement represents a significant step in bilateral relationships between the two countries.
