Vattani: ‘Artist who transforms the language of the cities into poetry’
On August 21 Achille Lauro will sing at the Matsuri Arena in Expo 2025 Osaka as part of the Italian Pavilion ‘Italy Pop-Music Fest’ program. A moment that promises to be unmissable also to the adhesions and comments on the social networks of the many visitors of the Japanese Universal Exposition.
As the Commissioner General for Italy points out at Expo 2025 Osaka, Mario Vattani, the presence of the Roman singer is in line with the message that Italy leads to Expo, because “the Italian pavilion does not just tell art and innovation”, but it is “a living gallery of personality which, with their genius and their originality, build the Italian identity”. The original works of Caravaggio and Leonardo da Vinci, the presence of D’Annunzio and Boccioni, “The audacity of Arturo Ferrarin, the sculptural language of Jago” dialogue “with the unmistakable personal figure” by Achille Lauro, “artist capable of transforming the language of cities into poetry, blending the borders between music, performances and vision”.
As the Commissioner General Vattani points out, “in the expressiveness of Achilles Lauro coexist aesthetic, provocation and story, which lead to Expo a contemporary vibration that dialogues with tradition and renews its breath”.
Tradition, innovation and originality. Elements that characterize the Italian Pavilion, which “is a human experience: a symphony of stories, talents and personality, in which past, present and future meet in a single, extraordinary narrative of Italy”, concluded the Commissioner General.
