President of Forum China-Celac: ‘Protectiveness for isolation’
“There are no winners in a commercial war and duties, and protectionism leads to isolation”. This is what Chinese President Xi Jinping said, opening the work of the fourth ministerial meeting of the Cina-Celac forum (the community of Latin American and Caribbean forum) in Beijing, in the first comments after the truce on the trade reached in Geneva from China and the USA. XI sent the Celac countries to “strengthen relationships in a phase of comparison between blocks” and to work together for an “open and multilateral world. China is a friend and a good partner to promote China-Celac relationships oriented towards a shared future”.
