‘China will continue as the leading global economic engine’
Chinese President Xi Jinping said his country has “full confidence” in its ability to reach its growth target in 2024. Quoted by the Xinhua agency, during a meeting in Beijing with leaders of various major economic organizations, Xi said: “China has full confidence in its ability to achieve its growth target for this year and will continue to play its role as the most important engine of global economic growth.”
