The Minister of Industry in a note, ‘regrettable decision’
Japanese Industry Minister Yoji Muto described US President Joe Biden’s decision to block the sale of the historic US Steel to Japan’s Nippon Steel as “incomprehensible”. “It is incomprehensible and regrettable that the Biden government has made such a decision citing national security concerns,” the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry said in an official statement.
