The Italian Film Festival returns to Singapore with a dynamic review full of proposals, offering spectators a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the liveliness of contemporary Italian cinema.
Organized by the Embassy of Italy in Singapore in collaboration with The Projector and the Singapore Film Society, the edition of this year takes on a particular meaning since it celebrates the sixtieth anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Italy and Singapore.
The event will take place from 7 to 22 June 2025 at The Projector, a local independent cinema located in Cineleisure.
The selection includes an exceptional variety of films that range between fiction, documentary, animation and art films, presenting both established masters and new promises.
The Festival will open with “Diamanti”, by Ferzan Özpetek. The closure will be entrusted to “Arsa”, an experimental audiovisual experience of the duo of Masbedo artists, whose work, which includes videos, installations, cinemas, performances, avant -garde theater and sound design, has been the protagonist in prestigious festivals such as Locarno, Venice and Rotterdam.
