Taliban, '46 dead in Pakistani air raids in Afghanistan'

‘Especially women and children, 6 injured’

The Taliban government in Afghanistan has announced that 46 people have died in air strikes conducted by Pakistan in the east of the country.

“Last night there were Pakistani raids on Barmal district, in Paktika province,” Taliban government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told AFP. “The total number of martyrs is 46, of which the majority are women and children”, he added, specifying that there were also 6 injured.
