South Korean President Yoon in court for arrest hearing

The judges will decide whether his detention will be prolonged

Impeached South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol has arrived in court for a hearing in which judges will decide whether his detention under the declaration of martial law will be extended.

Yoon arrived at Seoul’s Western District Court in a blue van and was taken directly to the court’s basement, AFP journalists reported. The media, the Court said, were not allowed access to the courtroom.
