The death toll from the crash of a Jeju Air plane which occurred this morning in an airport in South Korea has risen to 120. This was reported by the firefighters. The plane was carrying 181 people (175 passengers, including two Thai citizens, and six crew members) between Thailand and Muan, a city located about 290 kilometers south of the capital Seoul. “The cause of the accident is suspected to be a collision with birds combined with unfavorable weather conditions. But the results of an investigation are awaited,” local fire chief Lee Jeong-hyun said at a news conference.
