Tass, Russian Security Council Secretary will also see Wang Yi
The secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergei Shoigu landed today in Beijing as part of a short mission in which he will have interviews with the highest Chinese managers. “During the one day visit, the president Xi Jinping and the Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic Wang Yi is expected to meet,” reported the Tass. Shoigu’s journey comes a few days after Xi spoke with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, with the Chinese leader who praised the “positive efforts of Moscow to defuse” the crisis in Ukraine.
