Police in searches for martial law investigations
South Korean police said security guards were blocking the special investigation team from entering the main office building of President Yoon Suk-yeol, who is under investigation for insurrection and abuse of office under martial law imposed on December 3 and withdrawn after six hours due to the rejection of Parliament. “The raid has started and we have gained search access to the civil services part. We are currently unable to enter the main building due to restrictions imposed by the presidential security guards,” police said, according to the local media.
