‘To demonstrate the effectiveness of the state nuclear deterrent’

North Korea led yesterday “a simulation of launching a strategic cruise missile in the yellow Sea. This was reported by the official Pyongyang agency, Kcna, specifying that the exercise was intended to demonstrate the effectiveness of its “state nuclear deterrent”.

“An efficient subunitation of the combined Missilistic Unit of the Corean popular army in the western region simulated the launch of a strategic cruise missile,” said the agency.
