Nearly 130 deaths from floods in the Philippines

Isolated areas after storm passage, more serious toll is feared

The number of dead and missing in the Philippines due to floods and landslides caused by tropical storm Trami has reached almost 130 victims while many areas remain isolated and people need rescue.

Trami – CNN recalls – is one of the deadliest and most destructive storms in the Southeast Asian archipelago recorded so far this year, the government’s disaster response agency said. The death toll is expected to rise as reports arrive from isolated areas.
