Modies on X: ‘This day inspires to cultivate compassion’
Schools, banks, mumbai bag and public offices closed today throughout India, on the occasion of Good Friday, one of the three days of national holidays linked to the Christian calendar, in addition to Christmas and Easter. Christian communities are celebrating throughout the country, with rites and processions.
Prime Minister Narenda Modi, in one post on X, said that “this day inspires to cultivate kindness, compassion and always having a generous heart”. And he concluded: “May the spirit of peace and union always prevail”.
