Han to Vance, 'enormous space for China-US cooperation'

Chinese Vice President Han Zheng, meeting US Vice President-elect J.D. Vance in Washington on Sunday, said “economic and trade relations are important issues of mutual concern.” Despite differences and friction, “common interests and scope for China-US cooperation are enormous,” state news agency Xinhua reported. Beijing “is willing to work together to promote the stable, healthy and sustainable development of bilateral relations”, added Han, who will participate in Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony at the White House as President Xi Jinping’s special envoy.
