‘I offer my prayers for those who lost their lives’
Tibet’s spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, said today he was “deeply saddened” by the victims of the devastating earthquake that hit the remote Himalayan region of China.
“I offer my prayers for those who lost their lives and extend my wishes for a speedy recovery to all those who were injured,” the exiled leader said in a statement.
