Earthquake in Tibet, buildings collapsed and at least 95 dead

Earthquake also felt in Kathmandu, Nepal

The toll from a violent earthquake is at least 95 dead and 130 injured which hit one remote region of Tibet, in China, not far from the border with Nepal. The local authorities made this known.

According to Chinese state media, numerous buildings collapsed due to the earthquake, which had a magnitude of 6.8. The epicenter of the earthquake was located near Lobuche. In particular, the municipalities of Changsuo, Quluo and Cuoguo in Dingri county were affected. The earthquake was also felt in Kathmandu, Nepal.
