Trami hits Hue and Quang Nam provinces
Tropical storm Trami, which hit central Vietnam on Sunday, caused the deaths of three people, two in Hue province and one in Quang Nam province, where a 22-year-old boy was overwhelmed by a sudden rise in waters while he was providing aid to the inhabitants of a flooded area downstream of a dam.

Many areas were flooded and roads were blocked, over 20,000 residents were evacuated from areas at risk of landslides, floods and storm surges, while 18,000 families were left without electricity.
Air traffic at the four airports in the hard-hit region also remained at a standstill throughout Sunday.
