China, 'we will not accept US blackmail, fight until the end'

‘Strong measures to protect our interests, Trump shows respect’

China will never accept the “blackmail nature” of the United States and considers the latest threats of duties advanced by the American president Donald Trump “an error on another error”. A spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, in a note, ensures that if Washington wants to continue on this road then Beijing “will fight until the end”. Trump said yesterday that he will impose additional rates of 50% if China will not withdraw its 34% duties of retaliation against the United States.

Beijing invites Washington to engage with dialogue to resolve the various bilateral pending issues on trade.

“China urges the United States to erase all unilateral duties against China, to stop economic and commercial suppression against China and adequately resolve the differences with China through dialogue with mutual respect and on a level of equal”. American President Donald Trump said yesterday that he will impose further 50% rates if Beijing will not withdraw his 34% duties of retaliation against the USA.

If the US should ignore “the interests of both countries and the international community and insist on starting a tariff or commercial war, China will fight until the end”. The spokesperson for the foreign ministry Lin Jian has ensured that “our legitimate rights do not allow deprivations. Sovereignty, safety and development interests of China do not allow violations. We will adopt resolute and strong measures to protect our legitimate rights and interests”. The United States should show “respect” if interested in interviews with China after President Donald Trump has triggered a commercial war based on duties. “If the US really want to speak, they should then adopt an attitude of equality, respect and mutual benefit,” said Lin Jian.
