‘We will fight, if necessary, open if America wants to speak’
China denies having started with the US trade negotiations and defines “false information” the recent American messages according to which the parties are treating and will even find an agreement. “As far as my knowledge, China and the United States have not consulted or negotiated on the issue of duties, nor have they reached an agreement,” said the spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry Guo Jiakun, according to state media. “We will fight, if necessary. Our doors are open, if the United States want to speak. Dialogue and negotiations must be equal, respectful and mutual,” added Guo.
