Beijing threatens ‘actions firm’ against criminal measures
The new American measures on the control of the export of advanced microchips are types of “unilateral bullying and protectionism”. The Chinese Ministry of Commerce, promising “firm actions” of response against criminal initiatives, accuses Washington of “seriously compromising the stability of the global industrial chain and supply of semiconductors”. The USA, reads a note, “abuse” of export controls “to contain and suppress China, violating international law and fundamental rules”. Therefore, Beijing urges the USA “to immediately correct their wrong practices”.
