“With Japan we have many similarities, in Veneto in particular, the small and medium enterprise is held in high regard and is also a backbone of the Japanese industry”. This was said by the mayor of Venice Luigi Brugnaro at the Ansa, intervening at the opening of the Italian Pavilion of Expo 2025 Osaka where Venice will be the city that will represent the country for the first week.

A choice that “is a great honor” for Brugnaro, “because we tell not only the city of Venice, but also what Venice can give, even to the future of this planet”.

A unique opportunity, that of Expo, because “we come to propose, represent what we do and also come to know what the others do” add the first citizen remembering that “the 44 municipalities of the metropolitan city that are present, together with the statements of the mayors, tell not only what we have done, but above all what we want to do all together for the boys, for sport, for the study”.

For the mayor of Venice “there are relationships here that are very important” and that “they cross all knowledge from culture” but also “a whole series of human activities because first of all the relationships between people come and then trade also happen”.
