Spokesperson, ‘stop smear campaigns against Beijing’
Beijing has criticized the “unjustified attacks” of Donald Trump’s nominee for secretary of state, Marco Rubio, who condemned and described China as “dangerous” during a confirmation hearing in the US Senate. “The US side must establish a correct understanding of China, stop unjustified attacks and smear campaigns against China,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun commented at the daily briefing.
