Beijing, we collaborate with the USA to reduce tariffs for 30 billion dollars

Putin, ‘Russia and China will continue to apply visa exemptions’

Beijing has announced collaboration with Washington to reduce tariffs worth tens of billions of dollars. This was reported in an online statement from the Ministry of Commerce. “Both sides agreed in principle to discuss a framework agreement for mutual tariff reductions on products of equivalent size,” which will cover “$30 billion or more for each side.”

Russia and China will continue to apply the visa-free regime, Russian President Vladimir Putin assured during talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Tass reports it.

“Humanitarian ties are actively developing,” the Russian leader noted. “After the successfully concluded years of culture, it is now the turn of the years of cooperation in the field of education. This is already the tenth cross-state thematic project.”

“A further stimulus for the intensification of humanitarian contacts was the introduction, on your initiative, dear friend, of the visa exemption regime on a reciprocal basis for citizens of our countries,” Putin said, addressing Xi Jinping. “We will undoubtedly continue this practice.”
