Chinese company photographs US aircraft carrier movements in the Middle East

Satellite images of the USS Ford spread on social media

MizarVision, a Chinese commercial intelligence analysis company, photographed and spread it on social media satellite images of US military movements over the last two yearsincluding the recent one of the largest aircraft carrier in the world, the USS Gerald R. Ford, which in recent days left the NATO naval base of Souda, on the Greek island of Crete, heading towards Israel against the backdrop of a possible attack on Iran. This was reported by the Israeli media and the South China Morning Post.

The five-year-old company has increased the frequency and accuracy of its posts in recent months by including images of various U.S. military assets in Israel, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Greece and Qatar. At the end of January, the same Chinese media published images from MizarVision which signaled an increase in the US presence in the Qatari air base of Al Udeid.

Beijing is an interested spectator both for the connection it has with Tehran – a significant share of Iranian crude is directed to China at discounted prices – and for studying US military moves.
