Jaroslaw Symanski – Editor-in-Chief
Originally from Poland, Jaroslaw landed in Brussels where he majored in European Affairs in the early 00s. After a stint with the European Commission, Max joined Eurasia Times in May 2015 and was tasked with launching the English language version of the website. In addition to editorial supervision, Max is responsible for striking up partnerships with sponsors and media companies.
Felix Kutcher – editor
Born and bred in the great state of Michigan, Felix has been living in Europe and Central Asia for the past 10 years. With a degree in philology and a MA in journalism, Felix joined Eurasia Times in June 2015. He is the go-to person for the latest political developments in Central Asia. When he’s not pouring over reports and statistics, Felix is an avid Michigan Wolverines fan.
Lina Balashova – staff writer
Lina is Eurasia Times’ resident Russian expert – and occasional translator. Hailing from Russia, Lina studied journalism and history in Moscow and Paris, Lina joined the Eurasia Times team in June 2015. Before, she worked as a staff writer for several prestigious Russian media publications.
